Basic Rules / How to Play
- Grid Size: The puzzle is 8×8 grid in size.
- Ships: The fleet consists of several ships of different sizes:
- Battleship (4 squares)
- Cruisers (3 squares each)
- Destroyers (2 squares each)
- Submarines (1 square each)
- Ships' Placement Rules: Ships can be placed either horizontally or vertically but never diagonally. Ships do not touch each other, not even diagonally (they must have at least one empty square between them).
- Row and Column Clues: Numbers at the edges of the grid indicate how many ship parts (occupied squares) are present in that row or column.
- Water Cells: Some grids may have pre-filled water cells, indicating locations where ships cannot be placed.
