What is Anti-Diagonal Sudoku?

Anti-Diagonal Sudoku is a variation of the standard 9×9 Sudoku puzzle where, in addition to the usual rules, the two main diagonals of the grid are also restricted. Unlike X-Sudoku, Anti-Diagonal Sudoku typically requires that the diagonals follow a modified constraint (depending on puzzle design), such as preventing repeated digits or limiting specific placements along diagonal lines.

Anti-Diagonal Sudoku adds extra constraints to the traditional Sudoku grid, creating a more complex and engaging puzzle experience. It is perfect for puzzle lovers who enjoy logic-based challenges that go beyond standard Sudoku rules.

Basic Rules of Anti-Diagonal Sudoku

To solve an Anti-Diagonal Sudoku puzzle, follow these rules:

  • Fill every empty cell with a number from 1 to 9.
  • Each row must contain every number from 1 to 9 exactly once.
  • Each column must contain every number from 1 to 9 exactly once.
  • Each 3×3 box must contain every number from 1 to 9 exactly once.
  • Each diagonal has at most three different digits.
